Jaiku backchannel Flash app 19:33 on Wednesday
At last. A fun, although time-pressed Flash development project I’m not forbidden to talk about.
In the last three or so days Mikko and I developed a conference backchannel application for Jaiku, which can be used to run Jaiku channel streams on big screens. Well, small screens too, naturally, but the bigger the better. The app scales to fit any screen size and shape and can be run in full screen mode.
Below are a few pics of the thingy in action. The app also fetches images from the channel’s flickr feed, displays them in full size, after which the images drop to the background and get piled into a random.. pile of polaroids. Sort of. You can barely see it in the first image below.
ADVERT:
If you find yourself in need of Flash development, perhaps something like this Jaiku app, perhaps something more complex, let us know. We love a challenge.

Nice! Actually recently got a few requests for flash coders, and sent them your way…

Really cool, will it be made available to the public? If, when? If not, how elese to get it? Thanks Chris

It’s out of my hands, but I doubt Jaiku will release it to the public.
